Cave Story: Krystal's Path

A modification of Cave Story, which like "a certain modification for Half-Life 2", includes Krystal from the Star Fox saga to the game, but in this case, she will be included as the protagonist of all the events that occurred in Cave Story.

This modification consists of 3 sections which have been modified:

1. Soundtrack: A completely mixed soundtrack in OGG format, using elements from the original Cave Story, the Beta, the Wiiware version, 3D and small touches of the Star Fox saga in it.

2. Graphics: Graphic changes to adapt the immersive experience in the modification, without removing too much of that essence that makes Cave Story unique.

3. Dialogues & Extras: Adapt the dialogues for the occasion, minimal changes that do not affect the original story of the base game, and other small additions to give Cave Story a little more variety.

This project was originally conceived in 2022 for Cave Story+ in its Steam and Epic Games Store versions, but after almost 2 years I made the decision to finish it, in addition to having clearer ideas for the project itself, in addition to doing it now in the original version from 2004 for greater flexibility and comfort, both mine and the player.
